The QD Service Box is a service tool that provides capability to measure motor amps and line voltage with the motor running. The QD Service Box fits between the base and cover of an installed QD Control Box.

Fluke 179 Digital Multimeter

 The MULTIMETER can measure voltage, capacitance, and resistance. It should be used to perform Winding Resistance Checks (AIM, p. 38), Cable Identification (AIM, p. 40), Voltage Checks (AIM, p. 40), and Ohmmeter Checks (AIM, p. 41).

Fluke 337 Digital Clamp-On Meter

 The clamp-on AMMETER measures amperage (current) and should be used to perform Power On Checks as listed on page 40 of the AIM Manual. For appropriate current readings, refer to the AIM Manual, page 13, page 21, page 22, and page 23.

SUPCO MFD-10 Digital Capacitor Checker

The CAPACITOR CHECKER measures capacitance in microfarads (MFD) and is used to determine whether capacitors (used in Franklin Electric control boxes) are functioning properly. This tool will determine whether a capacitor is open, shorted, or within normal values. For MFD values, refer to AIM Manual page 42 and page 43.


UEI DMEG2 Digital Megometer

The MEGGER or MEGOHMMETER uses higher output voltage than a Multimeter and should be used to perform Insulation Resistance Checks (AIM p.43).
